No. A standard Investor KITAS does not allow you to work or perform operational tasks in Indonesia. With an Investor KITAS, you are allowed to:
- hold shares in a PMA company
- attend meetings
- supervise your investment
- represent the company at a managerial level (Director/Commissioner), depending on your role
—but you cannot:
- perform day-to-day operational work
- provide services to clients
- manage employees directly
- take any paid employment
If you want to actively work in Indonesia, you need a Working KITAS (Work Permit).
